Selection on hide parts

Hello,

I have a large model (500M) divided in 30 parts. I hided 29 parts and tried to select (with lasso selection) some triangles on the last part (the only visible one) for filtering them. Unfortunately the software is projecting the selection also in the hided parts and the filtering is applied also on them. Is this a bug?

I have replied also to your message sent directly to us.

You can bound the visible area of your model by Clipping box. This tool can be found in the 3D SCENE context tab. You can also find the instructions on how to use it in the application help. Then the selection tools respect the clipping box and the triangles outside this box will not be selected.
