Selection criteria for the free program

Good afternoon.
I’d like to know the criteria for the free content program.
Since some publishers are included several times a year, while others never are.
What exactly influences the selection process?
There’s no transparency, and it’s generally unclear what the focus should be. This is the only program that helps promote their products at all. And it’s not about the rewards. It’s just that with all the generated content, all the works created according to real rules and content have apparently stopped helping.

Because it seems that at the moment, the only selection criterion is familiarity with the moderators. Especially considering that the quality of many assets included in the program is very far from ideal, and often questionable in general.

I agree. I noticed that too.

More transparency in this process would be welcomed

Hi @AlexZuska,

Thanks for the feedback and inquiry.

The Limited Time Free program on Fab allows sellers to boost their revenue and reach new audiences and buyers to acquire a lot of great products for free. There are several factors that go into the selection criteria that include but not limited to product quality, product complexity/detail, product file formats, product category, product publish date, last time the publisher was selected for the program, etc. Submissions are received on a rolling basis and reviewed on a regular basis. To be transparent, we do receive on average hundreds of submissions a week and appreciate your patience as we go through them.

Since the transition to Fab, we’ve changed the cadence from a monthly rotation to a bi-weekly rotation – this has allowed us to provide more opportunities to feature creators and their content. For example, since Fab’s launch, over 60% of selected publishers took part in the Limited Time Free program for the first time.

If it’s been a while since you’ve submitted or you have new content you’d like us to consider for the program, feel free to submit here: https://support.fab.com/s/free-content-submission

In addition to the Limited Time Free program and sales, we’ve been working on more ways to provide publishers with opportunities to showcase their creations. One of those is this “Get Featured” form to be considered for features on the website and socials. This info, along with upcoming Fab updates and news, is included in our quarterly publisher newsletters.

Hope this helps!

So, while Abby previously wrote that there was no need to resubmit content, your checkbox “Would you like us to consider other products on your Fab storefront? (If you tick this box, you will not need to submit each product individually for them to be considered.)” aren’t working.
So, does that mean I have to submit everything I want to post every week to be included? Well, at least that’s the conclusion I draw from what you’ve said.
