I need to remove everything but the gymnasium in this level. I cannot just select everything in the hierarchy because some items from different rooms are grouped together. I am currently using ctrl + alt and left mouse clicking to select objects. The problem is it only selects what is seen. I will have to take 20 to 30 passes before all the door knobs, chairs, walls, accessories are all gone and it is taking a lot of time. how can i select EVERYTHING i drag over?
Holding Ctrl+Alt will allow you to box select in the perspective view.
However, it will be much easier if you switch to top-down view (Alt+J). Then it’s a simple LMB drag.
Note that you can hide very large objects that you don’t want to delete with the “H” key when selected. (like the sky sphere)
