I am currently producing a fan-film in UE5.4 at a realistic quality level but lack the competencies to claim I can do so on my own. I have many characters designed and look good within the engine but I have my work cut out for me to bring them all to life. However, my first lesson is to start small by focusing on one model and determine a workflow which could potentially be applied to all the others (with variables to be expected).
The complex attributes of the models (and the required flexibilities of the workflow would need to accommodate) include dynamic hair (long and short), cloak/cape. dress/skirt & facial expressions.
My experiments and many attempts to follow guides on this rather ambiguous journey have achieved me no further success past character designs and I am reaching out with the hope that there maybe someone with a far better idea of what can be done. Whoever does present themselves as the ideal help and is able to assist me in figuring out this workflow can be expected to be paid as a commissioned consultant along with a bonus for the success of the first model.
