Worldfall Online

Full-Loot Open World MMORPG with Real-Time Combat

Description: (Initial Conceptual Ideas)
A massively multiplayer role-playing game set in a fantasy world. There is a focus on open-world full-loot PvP combat among players on a large scale. Combat will be in first person for archery and magic while melee will be in third person exclusively. First person combat will function like a FPS with arrow physics and different spells having variable movement properties on them as they are casted. Enemy AI is designed to be much tougher and more dangerous than in other games. The world will be dangerous not just from monsters but from other players. PvE content will be prevalent in several forms but the end goal of the game is large-scale PvP between player clans. Siege combat between player cities and castles will be possible. All end-game armor and weapons will be crafted by players with world bosses and raids dropping the rare and expensive materials required to craft powerful gear. Dungeons in the game will be both in instanced and non-instanced forms. Non-instanced dungeons have PvP enabled within them and since there are no instances here, players can find themselves fighting the dungeon mobs and players simultaneously. This makes gameplay for dynamic. However there are also instanced dungeons that are more elaborate and feature intricate boss encounters. Raids will be instanced and will require rare keys needed to make them accessible to the party going in.

How will this be funded?
I want to get a working prototype together before we get ready for a Kickstarter launch. A game of this scale is only possible by writing a custom server and interfacing it with UE4 which requires dedicated programmers and of course, additional resources. Kickstarter will fund development and be able to hire additional members to the team.
