Seeking collaborators

I’ve been watching online tutorials for Unreal Engine, workflows, etc. My dilemma is that I’m in my mid 50’s and can’t afford to spend the next five years learning 3D software that will only supplemental to my indie film project (live action + models/sets/puppets + physical filming environments with CG augmentation/compositing).

This is also an educational/nonprofit endeavor, in that I’ll be mentoring young movie makers in the diverse industrial arts of production company roles that can help them in the long-run with non-media employable skill-sets. (MrAnderson.Rocks)

What I need is contact referrals for experienced Unreal Engine collaborators (whether for pay, deferred compensation, or pro-bono).

I have my industry-reviewed screenplay for “Tardigrades in Space” and have fabricated an extensive collection of film-quality puppets, sets and model miniatures. I will soon be developing the storyboard.

I was a filmmaker in high school and college, doing things the Lucasfilm/ILM way. I’ve produced/directed a number of professional video projects throughout my marketing communications career. In other words, I’m solid on logistics, crew management, cast direction, and editing supervision. But today’s digital work flows have learning curves that exceed my individual availability.

In short, I need crew members, and ideally, a few “partners”…indie experts looking for a marketable project to work on and a visionary producer/director to work with. Perhaps technicians who excel at digital design and execution who would like to add to their portfolio.
