Sculpting

I just posted on the Twinmotion forum and they said I needed to come here. Can someone help with vertical sculpting?
I have searched many posts but there either doesn’t seem to be an answer or it is just not possible. Is it possible to sculpt near vertical with the sculpt tool?

I’m completely new to Twinmotin and I am wanting to recreate a site. I thought i had the answer but it doesn’t work. I need a roadway at the base of a gutter and the footpath (and everything) else at the top of the kerb so I created the kerb and gutter and roadway in VW and set it at 0. I then set my flat landscape at +200 thinking I would just sculpt away the landscape over the road and gutter. It doe work sort of but even at the smallest diameter (0.3m) & 100% intensity (which I assume is the batter up the sculpting tool) it digs away behind the gutter. Can anyone think of a way to do this. I have followed the road tutorials but they only use basic shapes and my road is curved. They also use shapes for the paved footpaths to raise the elevel behind the kerb but again my kerb & gutter is curved.

When I run into this situation I end up making an additional model landscape component in my model that runs from the back of the curb about 10’ or so and is several feet thick.

Then I assign the same landscape material I will be painting and sculpting on the terrain to the 10’ landscape component i made.

Finally I sculpt the landscape terrain to the landscape component. It is much easier to sculpt and paint to this way not having to have a perfectly sculpted hard edge like you do sculpting to the back of a curb.

PS Sculpting seems tome to be better used in large landscape areas and detailed landscapes still need to be modeled.
