Hello, maybe you already know about this but I tested 5.6 with my tool then double checked that the icons ported properly and it seems the icons doesn’t load at all in the editor tool.

Same problem. Also, the Scriptable Tools UI on 5.6 looks worse! I’m not sure why they changed it. Your initial screenshot says it all.
Sorry for the bump but I would really like to have some insight on this on 5.6
Looking at the code, it seems like the UI part is here, but there’s nothing about getting an icon anymore.
I’m testing on main, and the problem is still here too; I also reported it but it would be great if someone look at it, some of us really need this.
There a legacy mode that can be enabled but the setting can’t be saved anywhere (even in the .ini), could it be possible to just make it memorized like the other setting if someone switch to the legacy mode?
That would prevent them to constantly toggle it back to true.
