Thank you!
My game is now live. And unfortunately even with many optimizations, the game continues to crash clients. My island code is 8693-0232-6706
Any updates regarding the status and/or potential fixes?
I have unlisted my game for now, hoping for a fix soon!
No update, but still being investigated.
Any new updates?
Why wasnt this resolved last sprint?
This has not been resolved, but I’ll try to get the ticket updated. Sorry for the delay here.
The team is looking at a possible fix for 40.00. I’ll let you know if we have any new info before then.
Will be awaiting 40.0.0 the release to see if my dropped frames in my live game go down. Scene graph games that rely on spawning like this seem to have very very poor frame analytics. My game sits around 15-20% dropped frames because of some insane optimizations ive done (was far worse before). But I know other strong creators who are pulling 30-40% drop frames on their dynamic SG maps, seemingly through no fault of their own. Weird thing is that mobile devices seem to perform better than consoles or pc in most situations? How is that even possible?
FORT-1008792 has been added to our ‘To Do’ list. Someone’s been assigned this task.
Hi was there a fix for 40.0.0 yet? Scene graph in general seems very poorly optimized, especially given the fact that we as developers have no control over client sided vs server sided actions, such as in Roblox for example. What optimizations and changes can we expect to come that will help bring us on a level playing field? Almost seems like we are 10-15 years behind Roblox’s toolkit which is honestly just sad. Also, I reported this bug over 5 months ago… This bug relates to a critical part of a core system that’s supposed to be the future foundation of building fortnite games. Like seriously… why is the turnaround time so abysmal?
