(using UE5 5.0.0 Windows, default setting)
I have this simple scene: a floor with a cube on it lit by a static directional light:
- Open Unreal Editor 5 and create an empty archetechtural project without starter content
- delete all objects except floor and postprocess volume
- create a new directional light, rotate it downwards and create a cube
- switch the directional light from stationary to static
- build the scene
and as it finishes the whole scene turns black, as if there would be no light in it.
Why is that?
