Scattering Blueprints On Map

I have a build system template and i am looking to take the Tree resource blueprint and scatter them, since i cant drop them into the foliage paint section, i am looking to get a scatter blueprint type of deal so i dont have to click and drag every tree/rock into position. Thanks!

Did you try using random nodes? You can write a basic algorithm that fits your needs fairly easily. But it does depend on how complex your needs are, of course. Hard to advise with anything tangible since you’ve included no details whatsoever.


Unfortunately, sobol documentation never materialised - that’s to the best of my knowledge at least.

theres a node called “GetRandomPointInBoundingBox” you can use that to get random points to spawn your trees within a designated area
