Dekogon Studio has removed one of its products from the store, making it inaccessible to those who had purchased it. Fab told me that this product no longer exists.

That’s a problem in itself, because I guess I can’t get a refund.

But it doesn’t stop there…
They sent it back and it was accepted, so now I have to pay again to get it back.

are you able to download it and add it to your project ?

you could try to ask the seller to gift the new version to you because you already owned a similar version of it.

No not possible to get it fab say “Sorry, we couldn’t find that page.”
I can try to ask yeah.

The page is removed but you should be able to add the asset from your fab library(epic launcher) to your project as those can’t be removed.

Here is one issue that, recently I came across, not specifically related to dekogon of course. The seller deletes the assets from market and then posts it again. It still appears in my library. Since I have about 8K assets in there (excluding 18K Quixel ones) I can’t remember If I had it. I search in Fab. it shows the asset to me and says you don’t own it, then I purchase it.

here is something that I’m not sure:

  1. Since I already have an asset with same name in my library, the new one replaces the old one
  2. Since I already have an asset with same name in my library, the new one is not being added
  3. In some cases (specially external purchases) I know for fact that I have an asset, I can see it in my library as owned. and when I redeem the code, it says redeem was successful but a new assets is not being added.
  4. In some rare cases when I purchase an asset externally and the asset is in my library, redeeming code will fail and tells me it already exists.
  5. I also had an issue a few months back that some deleted assets by seller was also deleted from my library but with help of support and using redeem codes that I had saved previously, I managed to recover most of them.
