I am trying to use twinmotion to mock up some packaging. I have int he past used Dimension but it feels like abandonware at this stage
However twinmotion seems like it has a long way to go as well.
My main issue today is I have a bottle, its 100mm tall, 40mm wide/deep. I want to put a label on it. Thing is it wraps around the bottle. I don't see any sensible way to achieve this in twinmotion. All I can do is import it as a texture to a surface, and then attempt to scale it to fit.
The scale tools are like a lump hammer, there is no subtlety what so ever. Adjusting the number gives utterly random results. it might be at 50, you put it to 60, it changes, put it back to 50, but its not the same as before. This is particularly difficult when scaling in a direction.
But the biggest issue and its all the time, I have to scale it to nil, on all dimensions to get even close. leaving me with no manovers. The simple answer you many think is to scale it bigger in illustrator and output that, import into twinmotions for more controls?
Nope it treats it exactly the same but with higher resolution.
Is there a sensible way to get a wrap around textures in Twinmotion?
