Scaling multiple objects by small amounts deselects them

I’m trying to scale multiple static meshes at the same time, but UE 5.3 will constantly deselect all but the one I’ve selected unless I scale them past a certain threshold. If the amount I need to scale them is too small, the problem appears, but as you can see in the gif, if I scale them more aggressively, they all stay selected when I’m done.

I’ve tried uniform and non-uniform scaling, changing the grid snapping and turning it off altogether… the only way to prevent this is to temporarily group all the objects which can’t be the expected workflow. Does anyone have any idea what’s causing this?

You can hold Shift while scaling. Don’t know why but it works. :confused:
