Has anyone had difficulty scaling a group made up of BSP models (the geometry brushes) ?
It seems to work sometimes but other times the individual group objects scale relative to their local position rather than scaling to the groups relative location.
Any ideas ?
Yes. select a group of brushes, of different shapes and scale them and some of them all start to scale the wrong way and make a mess. But this problem exists with the normal white brushes as well. And the conversion from BSP to Static Mesh Dosen’t work with Group BSP Brushes for converting it to a static mesh.
It leaves it half converted and leaves missing faces.
So the code in the engine for these features has not fully been written. So you can only do very basic things with it, can’t do all the advanced group stuff.
