It is currently very hard to fine-tune collision boxes in the static mesh editor because the scaling happens from the center of the collision box rather than its side. Allow us to grab each side like modeling mode, it will speed up the workflow at least 4 times.
Hi Wert, unfortunately this UI is unlikely to see major improvements in the near future. However there are quite a few options for using Modeling Mode to author/edit Collision. Here are some videos on the topic:

Basically if you want to use the Modeling tools to edit collision, you can, by doing Collision-to-meshMesh to create DynamicMesh or Volumes from the simple collision shapes, edit them using the Modeling Tools, and then use the Mesh-to-Collision tool to convert back.
(I realize you are asking for something much simpler/faster, sorry but we just don’t have it currently)
