Scaling animation performance

hey guys,

I decided to use Blender instead of buying a license for Max/Maya and in doing so I can not for the life of me solve the animations being 100x smaller in UE4 when I export from Blender.

But I noticed if I scale the Root bone in UE4 the animations are at the correct size.

Will scaling them in UE4 have a performance impact that’s going to be bad over all at the end of the project? I will probably have maybe 10-15 skeletal meshes on screen at once with a max of 14k tris per mesh.
