The levels window has the ability to change the Default Streaming Method, but this does not appear to save to the map. If you close and re-open the map, it always defaults back to Blueprint. Is there another way to configure the default value so that it saves between map loads and or sessions?
I just tried this, and it works fine in 4.27. Are you saving all relevant levels after changing the default loading method? ( at least the persistent and the level in question ).
Just to be clear, this is not changing the streaming method on an individual level within the Levels menu, this is changing the Default Streaming Method for the entire open Level. When that happens, neither the open map, nor the sub levels get marked as dirty.
Oh I see, there…
I don’t quite get it actually, because the persistent is always loaded.
When you add new or drag in a new level, it starts as whatever the Default Streaming Method is set to. We are adding / removing often for building content, and was hoping to have a way of not having to update the streaming method every time a level is added.
