I’m working on a 3rd person project where I implemented an inventory system. My current issue is saving the items my character (or other characters) dropped. Can anyone share their experience? What is a good method of storing the class of the item, its location, and other item-related variables to the savegame object?
There’s another annoying issue where the items my character drops sometimes fall through the floor. Not always. How do you deal with this issue?
