Saving imported Textures, Meshes


I wonder how to save my work correctly. On every Project I worked on in the last 15 month there are some meshes/textures that needs to be saved on every start, autosave and shut down. I did right click to save this Items, I clicked on the save button and File/Save all. This all did not help. After any save action the wildcard on the item is gone, but a few minutes later the editor ask me again to save this objects. Some of this items are normal maps and the time to save them is long enough to get bugged. What am I doing wrong?


It doesn’t sound like you’re doing anything wrong, you save from the content browser and then save your map from the File menu. Textures may take some extra time to save since they have to be formatted, but other than that it sounds like you are doing things correctly.
