When I save my project the landscape appearance changes but behavior remains the same. For example, I create a sheer cliff, save, and the cliff looks like a hill, but acts like a cliff in terms of collisions. Taking any landscape editing action reverts the landscape back to what I intend within the affected grid, but saving again causes the same problem. This happens regardless of the landscape material applied including the default. How do I make the landscape material match the heightmap?
Can you post some screenshots with what is happening? Maybe even a wireframe shot could help or video demonstration.
This may help in diagnosing a little bit better. Although this does sound like some odd behavior. It would be helpful if you could post this on AnswerHub in the Bug Reports section as well and we can have one of the support staff take a look.
