After much decision making I just bought a three month license. The quality of the model I produced with the demo version convinced me.
But that is my problem. I have the mkodel open in the demo version…but I cannot save it, even though I have now upgraded to Promo. I have activated the tool but the open version still has “export model” disabled.
Is there some way to save my existing model, or do I have to start all over again? (cry).

The demo version does not allow you to export anything. No matter what license you got. (Except rendered images and video.)
You need to download the full version of RC from the website and redo the reconstruction process.
For good reasons (CLI functionality, no limits to number of photos) the projects created with the demo version cannot be opened with the full version (as the license enforces limits of the programs functionality).
Fiddlesticks! At these sort of prices you’d think you could afford to have at least the current model in memory available to be transferred.
Oh well, at least your software is quick…I’ll restart and try later today…
