When I save my project in this stage (where I clicked “Start”)…
… and when I load the project anew, the screen looks like this:
I think all the work is lost, right?
I thought that saving a project would allow me to go on where I left.

please look at the screenshot to see how you change your 2Ds view ( thumbnails view ) to the 1Ds view ( project hierarchy ):

You need to go to the 1Ds view (the left info panel) and select the model to be displayed in the 3D view so that you can see it there.
Isn’t it possible to automatically restore the save project as I left it?
