Premise (Provided by Valiant):
“Fifteen years ago, the world’s most famous soccer star and his former supermodel wife –pregnant with their unborn child – disappeared without a trace. The world believes they are dead… But, in reality, their private jet crash-landed on a mysterious, unknown island ruled by prehistoric creatures from another time…
This is the story of how they lost their humanity.”

Description:
The first player experience in this pitch, will be the teenage protagonists’ fight for survival. This will include the action elements of; combat, stealth and flee.

Genre:
Action-Adventure.

Includes:
Tense Atmosphere.
Linear Open-World.
Third Person Viewpoint.
Challenging AI.
Complex Narrative.

Talent Required:

Game Designer (2)**
Ability to utilize UE4’s Blueprints, to create gameplay specific events.
Ability to critique, and tweak level designs to compliment game’s needs.
Expected to use Blueprint Visual Scripting, to manipulate gameplay.

3D Character Artist/ Animator (2)
Experience with Maya required. (Or Software, of preference)
Experience with UE4 toolset is a bonus.
Expected to create, rig and animate player, NPCs & monsters.

Programmer (2)
Experience with Unreal Engine’s Code required.
Experience with UE4 toolset is a bonus.
Expected to use code to manipulate gameplay, and features.

Cinematic Director**
Experience with Unreal Engine’s Sequencer required.
Experience with Animation is a bonus.
Expected to form, and curate opening cinematic.

During the development of SAVAGE (pitch), the game’s instance will be condensed into a 10-15 Minute Playable Demo, that will give Valiant-- and fans the opportunity to get a taste of the game.

Unless you’ve got the rights then that’s going to be a waste of time, also what’s your part in the project?

That is why we are pitching it. We could just ask, but something to show, and good direction is helpful, when making their decision and investment. Also, I am the project lead, and Game Designer/Programmer.

If this is a pitch it shouldn’t be to us but to the people you’re trying to get the rights from and I think you’ll need a little more than this to pass a good impression; of course you could write up a small tech demo or showcase your previous projects.
