Sample accurate audio sync in sequencer or ue4 in general

I’m trying to use sequencer to sync game moments to music. I’m hoping to create sample accurate event triggers that occur at specific moments in the music, and I can’t figure out if this is possible? I created an event track and the events trigger, but they all seem to be late…

Is there anyway to have things sync to audio with sample accurate timing? I read something about timers on the audio thread but couldn’t put it all together? can someone please help steer me? I’m happy for the entire game framerate to be slower or synced to music…I just can’t have them splitting apart…
