hi guys, my C:\ drive is an SSD, quite small. and for some reasons that I’m not sure of, it has filled up almost completely!
anyway, I was checking what are the big folders that take most of the space, this folder C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\UnrealEngine is taking 9.95GB. Is it safe to move it to my 2nd HDD?
This can be moved:
I have my unreal launcher and everything associated with it on my HDD, this was originally stored on my SSD. Its fine to move but you may need to re-map things around as sometimes the projects loose connection to the project files.
You can I’ve since found run the launcher and store the launcher on the SSD but have the projects stored on your HDD, this of course has benefits of a faster engine loading unloading but has the space of the HDD, I’ve yet to try it though.
Thank you, but where is the default engine ini file is located? Sorry for the noob question haha
