Sactum of the Lost Divine

Sanctum of the Lost Divine

Hello, My Name is Michael N and I just wanted to show case a 2-month long project I’ve been working on Unreal Engine 5.3.2 and Blender
I hope you all enjoy!

Created with Blender, Unreal Engine, Z-Brush, Substance painter, Photoshop, and more!
I am a recent graduate and I have created every single piece EXCEPT: The purple flowers on the walls, Trees, rocks and grass I used Mega scans from the Unreal Engine Market place for just those things to compliment my work!

Tools and Techniques:
Blender, Z-Brush, Marvelous Designer: Used for detailed modeling, UVs, Sculpting, Cloth Simulation (for Curtains) and texturing. Exported to unreal engine 5

Unreal Engine: Utilized for lighting, rendering, and placing the scene together to bringing the cathedral to life. A mix between Lumen and Raytraced materials to make the scene as realistic as I can possibly can!

Substance painter, Sampler and Photoshop: Custom Trim sheet usage for optimization purposes, Baking High to Low meshes, texture enhancements, color grading and seamless build textures

If you are interested, I will be implementing these techniques throughout my series: https://www.youtube.com/@lostinthehyperverse
This scene is an example what I can do with the array of tools, software and techniques I have learned!

Hi there @The_Hyperverse,

Welcome back to the Unreal Engine forums! Hope you’ve been well

This feels like the entrance to the coolest raid any game has ever created. The sculptures, curved apse, and heavily designed flooring/walls are all just beautiful. I can honestly say I’ve never seen anything as intricately detailed as this project is. Did you take inspiration from any real life locations or was it all purely imagination?
