Update: It’s already available on the Marketplace!

Small update: I’ve added a new option to automatically create materials with Bump Offset as an alternative method for the heightmap displacement.

Wow, what a great product. I almost missed this, I think I tend to look over things called “Easy <something>” :stuck_out_tongue:

Anyway I had a question (also asked on UE marketplace) about how capable it is at making/messing around with large 8K photo-realistic textures? It seems capable from what I’ve seen, but just making sure!

Thanks!
Sure, I’ve answered on the Marketplace.
As I said there, it should be possible to work with 8k, but the recommended max is 4k, to avoid slow computation times.
If you have some custom 8k heightmaps, you can always scale it down to 4k, for a heightmap it should make little difference. But that depends on you use case.
The tool was designed primarly for easy stylized textures (with the included automatic stylization filters), so I haven’t tested it yet with that large (8k) textures or fully realistic textures.

Thanks for the great feedback, I’m still considering this product, I’ll see how Mixer fits into my workflow first, and then I’ll try this
