[RVTvolume] No copy bounds and rotation options!

Hi everyone~

I’m new to RVT landscape creation. Recently I watched how to use RVT blending: Unreal Engine 4: Ultimate Beginner's Guide to Runtime Virtual Texture Blending (RVT) - YouTube

But I’ve got a big issue and have no idea to figure out the reason as when I place the Runtime Virtual Texture Volume actor into the terrain, there was no [Copy bounds] or [Copy rotation] even I picked the terrain :frowning:

My RVT setting:

Setting from Unreal Engine Document:

https://docs.unrealengine.com/4.26/Images/RenderingAndGraphics/VirtualTexturing/Runtime/QuickStart/4_3_AssignRVTAsset.webp

What can I do?

Thank you for your helping!

Louise

I have the same issue. My RVT settings looks the same as yours, with no ‘Copy Rotation’ or ‘Copy Bounds’.

It’s really disappointing how often a google search on an issue with unreal leads to an unresolved forum post these days. I don’t feel as if it was like this a few years ago.

Old topic but the answer is : set the virtual texture in Runtime Virtual Texture category. It unlocks the “Set Bounds” button.
