RVT Texture create weird artifacts

Hi I’m trying to blend my landscape curve with the landscape material itself using RVT and distance field.
The whole effect works nicely and the blending is seamless but I don’t understand exactly where those weird artifacts (banding) come from. Did I miss something while doing the set up of the rvt capture? Or is it only a byproduct of this method (low quality, compression,…). Note that changing the capture size doens’t improve at all the result.

It is caused by the parallax occlusion I’m using for all my landscape material. When rendering a virtual texture of that landscape it creates those weird banding.
If anyone could explain me why it appears, it would be great. For now I had to desactivate all my POM material.
