RVT blends in white color only

so I set up everything the same way I did in 5.1 now in 5.3
I created two virtual textures added the necessary nodes to both materials, added to textures to the height and material volumes, The thumbnails are showing that it’s working, activated virtual textures in the settings …
basically everything seems to be working and the height and landscape RVT’s are showing in the thumbnail, but when I want to blend and use the blending settings, it just gets a touch of the landscape material color and then goes into white.

The only thing I can think of that is white is the parent of the Qixel Stone. But I checked everything a couple of times, and nothing seems to be out of the ordinary.
