Runtime Virtual Heightfield Mesh keeps crashing in UE 5.5

I’ve tried multiple projects, landscape and material variations as well as a ton of project settings, but nothing seems to work. Only occuring in 5.5

I create a material with RunTime Virtual Textures, adding a RVT_height and RVT_material volume to the landscape and assign those to the landscape.
Afterwards setting the bounds to “landscape” for each of those volumes.
No issues

I can also add the virtual heightfield mesh, but the moment that I “copy bounds” from the RVT_Height, the engine crashes. But only when it’s visible, if I hide the heightfieldmesh in editor or in-game it’s fine.

Anyone else experiencing this or figured out the issue?

I tried a new project with a way smaller landscape, and settings on low, that gave me a couple of more seconds before the engine crashes.
