I just wondered if anyone here has used a Surface Studio Laptop to run fly through presentations in front of a client and have been able to edit the model to show client changes?
Hello ,
While I haven't personally tested on a Surface Laptop Studio, based on the tech specs here, it looks like the highest end GPU configuration for the laptop, the NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™3050 Ti laptop GPU with 4GB GDDR6 GPU memory , just falls short of our minimum Twinmotion System Requirements. We recommend that you use a GPU with at least 6GB of video memory (VRAM) and a benchmark score of 10,000 on this list here. The 3050 Ti for this computer is just below minimum with only 4GB of VRAM and a benchmark score of 9767.
Given the specs, I expect it could run Twinmotion for very simple projects, but it would need to run on low settings and would be prone to crashing and general UI sluggishness as project complexity increases. The GPU is the only weak point for that PC, though, so if you could find a similar laptop with a stronger GPU, you would have a much better experience with Twinmotion.
Best,
