I had read that Unreal was going to make a Rpg based template/project. Can anyone confirm, and if so, any timeline or feature list. TY.
It’s been removed from roadmap which this comment:
“Too large for a template, considering a sample game”
So you need to implement RPG mechanics yourself, it actually better this way because RPG can be implemented in many ways. Epic already removed Inventory system from UE3 since it was mainly done for shooters, where inventory can be implemented in many other ways, so by removing they forcing developer to think of there own solution
TY, nay recommendations using BP, assets or market place, I have a huge list compiled, but coming from Unity and porting my project is a learning cure, so anything to help ease the transition would be helpful and nothing beats advice from someone who is used to this engine, ty.
