Hi @StarSignalAnthony. Cool Plot. Good Luck. Its nearly impossible to find help for ROYALTY Projects. I’ve been forced to turn the Marketplace and Generative AI for my project as a Solo Dev. All I can say is im making good progress now.
Everything was different in 2000’s LOL. I’m actually interested in Royalty based projects. Just trying to find one that aligns closely with my own game so i can contribute to both simultaneously ( Maze & Monsters Multiplayer FPS/RPG ).
Blueprints is my forte. I can do simple primitive models and simple cubic art (voxels, pixels) haha. I’m not great with 3D modelling art for characters nor environment. Thus, using my programming skills to procedurally generate both.
Yeah I can do basic 3d modelling using Blender, but not really characters or environment models. My ideal situation would be to just code/design the game, with others producing the environments and characters.
Blender is my DCC as well. haha. I had to accept the truth. I could not achieve my goal without spending some money. I tried a freelancer or two, but was not happy with the result. So I started acquiring Assets from the marketplace. I figure I could kitbash them into something unique.
But I found another advantage to Marketplace. theres also additional support from the publishers and their communities.
