I’m not quite sure what you’re getting at there. Do you mean using the LMB while holding ALT ( after selection )? Because then it’s the same for wall or floor.
Hi,
Using the LMB, the camera can rotate left and right to align a floor plane to be viewed from the near left corner to the far right corner, is it possible to rotate left and right with the camera tilted upward to align a vertical wall plane to be viewed from the bottom left corner to the top right corner?
thanks,
Hi ClockworkOcean, thanks for replying. Its not while holding Alt but with the camera tilted up, as I’m attempting to get the side to side rotation.
Yes, but it’s much easier to use the RMB.
You have to use RMB to look up anyway, you can then use LMB to look around, but you might as well carry on with RMB.
yes you’re right, the RMB is used to look up but its actually the rotation I’m attempting to do.
Ok, so you want to look diagonally up a wall from one corner to the other. Is this in the editor or in game?
For instance, I have a wall:
I can put a camera in the corner:
Turn the camera so the ‘bottom’ is against the wall and angle it towards the opposite corner:
And pilot it:
Thanks for the help. It’s for the native camera in editor viewport, which I used to take the screen shots.
