RootMotion

Hey there. I wanted to set up root motion for my character. I’ve gone through a lot of guides and most of the free methods seem to point towards using an addon in Blender. It appears to create a Root bone (I’ve followed all the steps - adding a Root bone to the skeletal mesh and character, along with animations), but somehow the animations don’t seem to physically affect the character capsule’s movement. I’m using Unreal Engine version 5.2.1 (I also tried on 5.1.1).

Affect? Why you want it to affect the capsule? Isn’t that capsule meant for collision purposes only? Mind telling us what is the end goal here.
