RootMotion freezes character in place

Hi all,

Having an odd animation error where when trying to play an animation with rootmotion enabled, the character is locked in place for the duration of the animation. I’ve tried every fix I found listed online; it works fine in the animation editor when root motion processing is enabled, and I’ve set the Root Motion from Everything option in the anim preview editor properly - yet when I try it in-game, he just gets locked in place. Is there anything I might be missing?
