I have a pretty simple setup with a third person character climbing a ladder.
I am using root motion to drive it.
I have an animation montage I want to play as the character climbs the ladder.
However the character does move up against the ladder (so the root motion is working) but only the walking
animation is playing.
So it looks like the state machine overrides the BP setup where I want to montage of the climbing to kick in.
Anyone have any thoughts about this issue?
