Root Motion troubles.

When I import a model from blender (with all the accurate settings I.E. scale, vector directions, mesh face, animation) and try to key in new root motion for a static animation, My animation moves more than the keyed movement I implemented. (around twice as much). I’ve tried not using normalized vectors I have tried checking and unchecking all the settings under Root motion in the animation sequence tab. Please help :frowning:

Hello there @speedyrogue1029!

That’s an Unreal and Blender shenanigan, if I ever seen one. They just don’t have the best relationship, specially for animations.

You have already the usual approach, check all settings and parameters. I would also make sure that any and all active transformations are applied in your model. Then, the other path is reset all export/import settings in both UE and Blender, in order to rule out any conflicts between either configuration. After that, test importing your mesh again, and see if the animation moves as intended.

If the issue persists, please test the method detailed here, I have found it useful for similar scenarios.

Ok Thank you I will try doing that
