I have a question about root motion and in place animation.
I’m preparing character movements to sell on the marketplace.
I prefer that animations as root motion and later I erase root movement keys for to export as in place animation fbx.
Its no problem for walk cycles or run cycles, but I think it can be problem about slide foot for turns 90, 45 etc…for users that using in place animation, because I use non - linear curves for root motion movement because of soft turns.
What can I do solve this problem ?
The only idea that comes to mind is to make linear curved versions of the turn and rotation animations.
Does anyone have an idea or experience on this topic?
