Root Motion Not Working For Spawned Actors

I am using Root Motion for some zombies.
Works great for any Zombie dragged onto map…but root motion is not working for any zombies spawned into map. The just walk in place.

Are there any specific issues with using Root Motion for spawned actors?

I resolved this setting “Set Movement Mode” to Walking on Character Movement after spawning

Just wanted to thank you for taking the trouble to return and post the answer to this problem. Saved me a bit of wondering.

Yes, thank you for this answer, spent an hour scratching my head before finding this. In my case I had to use flying as im doing something custom and need no collisions on, but the solution of the SetMovementMode after spawning was the answer.

Edit. I realise this is an old post, but the answer is every bit as relevant.
