Root motion not applying if character is attached to actor???

I’m currently working on vehicles, and one of the things that has been stumping me lately is root motion when playing the enter animations. I have it setup correctly, and it does root motion when not attached, but when I attach my player to my vehicle, suddenly root motion doesn’t play anymore. This is one of the key things for my vehicle system, and I have come up with a jank fix, but that causes further issues down the line.

Is there any way to fix this?

I think I’ve solved it, so posting here for any future people having this issue, when you attach your character, dont check weld simulated bodies. Once I unchecked that root motion applied properly.
