Root motion jump does not jump

I’m following a simple logic with root motion that were the root goes so does the player or character model but does not seem to be the case with jumping.

I guess the first question is there still work that needs to be done to root motion as to expatiation of function? Would save me a lot of time to figure out it’s not on my end.

Anyways here is a video of the problem.

The pie plate is attached to the Reference root node (I’m using motion builder) and in the first series I have root motion turned off and the animations runs as expected, leaving behind the capsule, and in the second the jumps bumps forward, but not to distance, as well gets no height.
