Root Motion Issue with Enhanced Input

I am having an issue trying to migrate from old keymapping to enhanced input with my root motion locomotion. I have it set up to the best of my knowledge the same way with enhanced input as the old keymapping.

The issue is with the enhance input when I depress the movement key my character is still moving and doesn’t go back into idle as it should. I am using a blendspace with idle, directional, strafe and forward/backwards. This is only an issue when I try to set it up with enhanced input.

Here is how the movement is set up just for basic walking to work. Which it does but like I said I don’t go back into idle state when releasing key. I do with the old setup.

I resolved this issue today.

Im having a similar issue, how did you solve it?

For future reference, from the completed pin in the IA_Move_Forward node, reset side and forward input to 0 to stop moving.
