Hey everyone !
I got difficulties when using root motion on my animation blueprint.
I tried creating a very basic character with only forward movement for now. I got an animation that make the character walk using the root bone.
I have activated the “Enable Root Motion” checkbox on my asset :
And now my root bone is locked to the center position (I’ve seen that this is normal) :
Then on my animation blueprint, I have setup the Root Motion From Everything.
But when I’m into the game, the character is moving very slowly (You can see this on the transform X location at the bottom right.)
Normaly the animation move about 200 unit per cycle…
I’ve searched around for every post talking about root motion but nothing I’ve made so far is working.
Do you guys and girls have any ideas of what’s going on ?
