Root motion from sequencer is not working with Animation Blueprint

I have two skeletal mesh actor at my scene.
The one above does not have an Animation Blueprint, and the one below does.

After the three consecutive horizontal slashes, I used the ‘Match With This Bone’ feature of Motion Blending in the Level Sequence to ensure the upward slash is performed from the moved position

However, as you can see in the video, the manny without the Animation Blueprint on the top performed the upward slash from the moved position correctly, but the manny below returned to the starting position.

It seems that the Level Sequence track’s root motion Matched Location Offset is not being applied to the manny below.

I tried changing the root motion mode in the animation blueprint from ‘Root Motion from Montages’ to ‘Root Motion from Everything’, but it doesn’t work.
