I’m using blend spaces in my characters’ animgraphs to control movement and montages for attacks. When the animation blueprint’s root motion mode is set to “root motion from everything” I can walk around just fine, but the attack animations freeze in place. They don’t lunge forward and snap back when root motion is turned off, they stick in place.
When it’s set to “root motion from montages only” the attacks move properly and regular movement does not, as expected.
Is there a setting I missed or was root motion only ever intended to come from one source at a time?
