Root bone for skeletal mesh?

I’m importing a plain mesh to unreal as skeletal mesh from blender. I want to place the bones in unreal. But a root bone is missing. How to fix that rather in unreal or in blender.

(I can’t convert to skeletal mesh ion Unreal because there is a bug and my second uv channel gets deleted when i do so)

Hey @data_morphana!

Unfortunately the only bones you can add within Unreal is VIRTUAL bones. You will need to export to another program like Blender or Maya to add animation bones like a root bone, the virtual bones have a different function entirely. :slight_smile:
