So yeah there’s an issue, there is literally nowhere to give feedback/suggestions on rocketleague, the forums have been closed, no new rocket league forums have been opened since epic acquisition, no feedback section on the official discord.
not that psyonix ever listened to their payerbase but I hoped with epic acquisition it would change things, and don’t get me wrong it did, healthy changes to the matchmaking system have been implanted since, but there are still big issues and I do believe a place where we could give feedback ( to epic, not psyonix ) would be great since it’s obvious no one in charge of the game plays in solo-Q and/or plays at all, thus can not see the real issues there is with the matchmaking.
Would make sense to pay attention since rocket league is a pretty big competitive game, with a large playerbase yet i can tell you that most people i’ve got in my friendlist only play it very casually and it’s not because we’re just casuals at low elo, i usually average 1800 elo which means top 0.4% to 0.3% in 3s, so all the people in my friendlist are about the same elo ( ofc there’s some variance but yeah ) and yet they play the game very casually, i couldn’t even begin to count the number of peops i’ve got in my rocket league friendlist that haven’t played for several months, some have even stopped altogether, which is unusual behavior from high elo players in a competitive game : the matchmaking is simply ubearable, especially in casual queue.
I do believe giving a way to people to give relevant feedback on things they see because they actually play the game would be beneficial and would boost player numbers, especially at higher elo ranges.
